After a great night sleep, we woke up this morning to a delicious hot breakfast.  Pickens Presbyterian's head chef, Mac, greeted us with pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and GRITS!  YUMMY!
Stomachs full and happy, we headed down the road to our work site.  Steff, Kelsey, Brianne, and Brian (HFH site volunteer) get right to work. This is basically what the house looks like when we arrive.
Emily and Naiomi help homeowner, Amanda, put together some boards to be used for framing the walls. Ryan and Andrew are doing the same in the background.

Brianne works with her pal Brian to lay out the base of the frame.

Lisa and Jenn making "corners."
Ryan and Andrew doing some heavy lifting.
Ryan and Brianne pretending to work.  Naiomi laughing in the background.
Today was a very productive day.  We framed one and a half walls and we hope to finish framing and raise the walls tomorrow.  The team has earned the right to a mindless movie (Couples Retreat) and a good night sleep.

Stay tuned for more photos and stories from the team tomorrow!
